Way back in 2016 I went on a song writing spree with my ukulele. I wrote a lot of songs. And then I never did anything with them really. Some terrible videos ... However now I've decided to revisit some of those songs and give them new life. I do try, since I wrote them with and for my ukulele, to include that instrument in the recordings as melody or rhythm in some form. Aweigh, Aweigh, Aweigh is my endeavor to write a sea chanty. I believe that, if in no other way, I captured the spirit of the genre. I hope you enjoy this little foray out onto the blue where the wind whips you soundly and the spray is never ending! Avast mateys!
